Permits entry of air into the roof space for cross flow ventilation or for use with mechanical extraction

 

For roof ventilation: Conforms to the requirements of BS:5250 & BS:5534-2014 & the building regulations approved document F2:2010 & NHBC recommendations

• For passive Stack ventilation: Conforms to BS:5925:1991 & building regulations approved document F1:2010
• For use as a Soil vent application: Conforms to BS:12056-2:2000

 

Envirotile ventilated roof tile products comply with relevant British standard requirements & NHBC Regulations

• Designed to be unobtrusive – the tile simply integrates with standard Envirotile
• Supplied exclusive for Envirotile use in any of our dedicated colour range
• 10,000 mm² free air flow
• For roof installation above a pitch of 22.5⁰ degrees

 

Recommended spacing requirements for correct airflow of ventilation area of

• 5 mm continuous opening – install at 2.0 m apart subject to pitch requirements
• 10 mm continuous opening – install at 1.0 m

 

Airflow Resistance when used as an extract terminal

• 10Pa 54m3/hr (15 litres /sec)
• 42Pa 108m3/hr (30 litres/sec)
• 162Pa 216m3/hr (60 litres/sec)
